Meet your teachers

  • Hannah first started yoga for flexibility and strength. She wasn’t very flexible, and wanted to touch her toes. She soon discovered yoga was the perfect partner to a busy lifestyle, as she was able to destress and find calm like never before.

Motivated to help other “non-natural” yogis to discover the benefits of yoga, Hannah made the step to become a yoga teacher in 2021. She trained in hatha yoga and now enjoys helping people use meditation, movement and breathwork to feel happier and healthier.

Hannah’s style is relaxed and informal, with a focus on self-discovery. Her goal is to guide you to explore the benefits of yoga for yourself, whether that’s building flexibility and strength, moving outside of your comfort zone, or to find a little focus and slow down using your breath. Whatever brings you to yoga, she hopes to play a small part in your journey.

  • Donna began her journey with different healing modalities back in 2016 when she experienced Sound Healing for herself and fell in love. She has now set out to help others in the same way Sound, Crystals and Reiki have helped her.

Donna uses Sound therapy, Crystal healing and Reiki energy healing to help people feel more balanced, relaxed and aligned within themselves. Donna believes everybody needs some relaxation and help for their mental, physical and emotion wellbeing, and she loves to be able to provide that to people using a range of modalities.

FAQ

  • Why should I try Slow Flow Yoga?

Slow Flow yoga is a dynamic practice where you bring movement and breath together to “flow” through a series of postures. The rhythm of the practice can allow you to unlock a meditative state.

Research has linked this style of yoga to increased flexibility, strength and balance. It also has many mental health benefits including reducing stress, and increasing focus, concentration and mindful awareness.

The Slow Flow style is slower than a vinyasa or power yoga class, making it accessible and allowing you more time and space for self-exploration.

  • Why should I try a Sound Bath?

During a sound bath, you will experience beautiful sounds created by singing bowls. The vibrations created by these bowls can switch your brain into its theta state. In this state your brain produces waves is associated with inducing feelings of calm, increased creativity, and an enhanced ability to absorb new information.

If you’ve never tried a sound bath before and want to understand what happens during a session, then check out my interview with Donna here.
