This 20 minute morning yoga practice is focused on activating your heart chakra with heart opening poses.

Heart opening poses are typically backbends where you are working the muscles in the back of your body and stretching your chest and abdomen are 'heart openers'.

Practicing heart openers can is really beneficial for your health. These include strengthening your legs, arms and back muscles, improve your posture, giving you more energy, relieving some types of neck and back pain.

Heart Openers also help you mentally and emotionally. Practicing these poses can help you to reduce stress and anxiety, boost feelings of self-confidence, decrease feelings of loneliness and relieve depression. Heart openers can also help you feel more open to love… whether that’s with a special someone, recovering from a broken heart or falling back in love with yourself!

Whether you are a complete beginner or more experienced at yoga, when you have 20 minutes jump into this practice to open your heart and get a good old stretch.
